Background/Relevant Experience:
Mr. Vergara joined Swap Financial Group in November 2008 with over nine years experience in the tax-exempt securities market. James spent five years in public finance at Morgan Stanley, focusing on large and complex financings, including those for the City of New York, tobacco settlement securitizations and pension obligation bond financings and new products such as municipal CPI bonds, stepped coupon bonds and municipal floating rate notes. He also traded high-yield and high-grade bonds on Morgan Stanley's proprietary trading desk for two years. After leaving Morgan Stanley, James spent two years structuring and trading municipal derivatives at Lehman Brothers and was primarily responsible for Lehman's institutional investor municipal derivatives book.

Mr. Vergara received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999.
